Quantized nanolaminates as versatile materials for optical interference coatings

Abstract

In this paper, the theoretical foundation of quantized nanolaminates is explained and the dependence of the optical band gap on the quantum well thickness is derived. The manufacturing is investigated applying molecular dynamics simulation.
