Ideal Photon Trapping in a Time-Potential
Abstract
We consider photon trapping by refractive index steps moving with speed of light. We show that such trapping fundamentally differs from conventional, 'standing' cavities, demonstrating zero reflection through the walls and breaking several fundamental limits.
