Towards Sub-10-fs Pulses at 1 MHz Repetition Rate from an Optical Parametric Amplifier in the Visible Spectral Range

- Abstract
We present a compact optical parametric amplification system operating in the visible spectral range. It delivers pulses with a Fourier-transform-limited pulse duration below 7 fs at 1 MHz REPETITION rate with an energy larger than 2 µJ.
