Voluntary Academic Year

Every year, PhoenixD supports teenagers who complete a so-called Voluntary Academic Year (German: FWJ) between school and university or training. The young people get to live a day-to-day life at an institute, work on their own projects and exchange information in regular seminars.

WHO DOES AN FWJ IN PHOENIXD RIGHT NOW?

In the current year September 2019 to August 2020, the following people are completing their FWJ at PhoenixD:

  • Helena Isenberg (Institute of Forming Technology and Forming Machines, LUH)
  • Jasper Hüchting (Institute for Product Development and Equipment Construction, LUH)
  • Friederike Mai (Institute for Dynamics and Vibrations, LUH)
  • Darian Rozok (Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V.)
  • Jasper Lammers (Institute for Assembly Technology, LUH)

We welcome all five members!

Would you like to do an FWJ at PhoenixD too? More information about available places and the application can be found on the MHH website.
