The monthly PhoenixD Colloquium serves the scientific exchange on current topics in the field of optical technologies worldwide. The colloquia usually take place in presence. All PhoenixD members as well as all interested parties are cordially invited to participate in the events.
The aim is to bring together scientists across disciplines and to enable an exchange as well as to expand and strengthen the network among each other. In addition, the scientists can inform each other about their current research status.
From the summer semester ’23 onwards, the PhoenixD Colloquium will start with a new time slot: the first Thursday of each month at 1.15 p.m.
At this point, we would like to point out that it is also possible to set up additional dates for special colloquia.
A chair is to be assigned to each session. The chair moderates the event and is responsible for the process from the request of the speakers to their acceptance. Ideally, the speakers should be external and internal. Internal speakers report on current developments within PhoenixD, the external scientists provide insights into related topics outside the cluster to open horizons beyond established perspectives.
All postdocs are also welcome to become chair and/or speaker of a colloquium. Ideally, potential chairs should get in contact with us at least 8 weeks before the regular colloquium to request becoming chair of a sessions. Requests for special colloquia are always welcome.
Please use the following e-mail address for your enquiry: colloquium@phoenixd.uni-hannover.de
You would like to participate in the PhoenixD Colloquium and do not yet receive the current announcements by email? Then please contact our office: phone 0511-762 14780, e-mail: office@phoenixd.uni-hannover.de.
