The Graduate Academy of Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) invites you to a Lunch Talk on Thursday, 7 April, from 12:30 to 14:00. The topic of the free online event is "Coming back - back to the German academic world after working as a postdoc abroad". PhoenixD member Jannika Lauth will be one of the speakers.

How does it work to return to the academic world in Germany after a research stay abroad? What strategic significance does the international mobility of scientists have for their future career paths in research? These are the questions that PhoenixD member Dr. Jannika Lauth, group leader at the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, and Dr. Jens Langejürgen from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation, Mannheim, will answer. They will also discuss strategies on how researchers can prepare for a triumphant return to the German research landscape after a stay abroad as a postdoc. Lauth, for example, had spent two years researching at the University of Delft in the Netherlands before taking up her post at LUH. Are you interested in participating?
