The Ph.D. positions based at DESY (Hamburg) will focus on bringing the study of photo-electronics into new regimes, such as studying in real-time the electron dynamics involved in nuclear transitions or at the interface between molecules and surfaces. A deep understanding of such processes is likely to have a large impact on medical and environmental science. The project involves the close collaboration with national/international academic partners.
