The whole team of the HOT - Hannover Centre for Optical Technologies congratulates Dr. Monali Suar for the successful defense of her doctoral thesis on the topic "Development of hybrid optical simulation concepts for polymer waveguides".

Her doctoral thesis was performed within the Lower Saxony Research Program HYMNOS and the DFG Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD. The members of the Examination Board were Prof. Dr. Alexander Heisterkamp (Chair), Prof. Dr. Bernhard Roth (supervisor), Prof. Dr. Dag Heinemann (all from Leibniz University Hannover), and Prof. Dr. Maik Rahlves (Universität zu Lübeck).
